Nominations open for President's Award for the Environment

SINGAPORE: Nominations are now open for this year's President's Award for the Environment.

Individuals, companies or organisations that have made significant contributions to Singapore's efforts to achieve environmental and water sustainability can be nominated.

Nominees must possess an excellent environment track record that shows they have made high impact contributions to the environment and have promoted good environmental practices.

Winners will be announced in October.

Each of them will receive a trophy and a certificate from President S R Nathan at a ceremony that will be held at the Istana.

The closing date for nominations is 31 July.
