Christina Ong to take over as NParks Board Chairman

SINGAPORE: Mrs Christina Ong has been appointed to succeed Professor Leo Tan as the new Chairman of the National Parks Board from Wednesday, 6 June.
She is currently the deputy chairman.
Professor Tan has been NParks Board Chairman for almost a decade (since 1998) and has guided it through many projects such as the nation-wide Park Connector Network and the Singapore Garden Festival.
NParks hopes that Mrs Ong, who is the Managing Director of Club 21, will bring in valuable marketing and private sector experience to the board.
Mrs Theresa Foo, Chairman and Senior Advisor of BNP Paribas Capital, will be appointed the Deputy Chairman. - CNA/yy
