SINGAPORE : Nanyang Girls' High School turns 90 this year. But it is certainly in tune with the times, as its 90th Anniversary Art Exhibition focuses on one of today's pressing issues - the environment.

Named A Green Dot, the art exhibition showcases contributions from students across the Nanyang cohort, ranging from those in kindergarten to secondary school.

Even those in the alumni contributed some artworks.

Held at the Singapore Management University, the exhibition was launched on Friday by Minister of State for Community Development, Youth and Sports, and Nanyang alumni Mrs Yu-Foo Yee Shoon.

The exhibition is part of the Singapore Art Show and will end on August 16. - CNA/ms
