SINGAPORE: Indonesia's ban on sand exports to Singapore tops the list of more than 60 questions tabled by Members of Parliament for Monday's sitting.

Some MPs will ask the National Development Minister questions regarding the impact of the ban on Singapore's construction industry, and the measures that are being taken to overcome this.

Other questions tabled relate to whether the rising prices of high-end properties are leading to a speculative "bubble" and the state of relations between Singapore and Thailand.

The Spam Control Bill and an amendment to the Land Acquisition Bill will also be introduced.

Monday's sitting is ahead of Budget Day on Thursday, 15 February. - CNA/so
